I am using VirtualBox on my Mac to run Windows XP. I decided to change proxy and internet CONNECTION properties around the other day, and it worked fine until today, and all of a sudden the internet in the Virtual machine will not work. But the internet on my Mac will. I do not know how to find out what caused it or how to fix it. If anyone has any ideas please help me. And if you need more info. just ask.
Thank you How to fix Internet Explore?http://getfirefox.comHow to fix Internet Explore?what are u proxying ur browser connection to? do me a favor ping google.com from the virtual machine? if u get a reply please remove the proxy settings from explorer as if u don't have proxy accepting ur requests and redirecting them this wont work and ur browser will not work, u most likely need to restart ie for changes to take effect and when u did proxying started but u have no proxy,, if u really want to run a proxy service look into tor for firefox which starts a proxy service on the localhost loopback interface 127.0.0.1 =)
