I tried to change my proxy settings, I changed passwords, recovered account name, etc. I have had someone else log in and they can log in just fine, but my account is locked out. I can log into my mail from my browser, so I'm wondering how can you force YIM to sign in since there is no problem whatsoever.
If Yahoo was blocking my account, then I wouldn't be able to log into my email, so it's a software problem, right? I would not start uninstalling it multiple times, that does not seem to help. The fact that you can change your password and sing into your Yahoo! Mail means your account is not locked or closed. This latest update to 9.0 fixes some sign-in issues some vista users were having.
