How To Disable School Proxy (slightly complicated)?

Resources: Complete administrator privileges, complete access to system preferences. Mac OS X Leopard (10.5.8)

I am connected to the internet via an Airport (wifi). Our school's proxy blocking system shows up at Safari -%26gt; Preferences -%26gt; Advances -%26gt; Proxies: Change Settings -%26gt; proxy.milwaukee.k12.wi.us Port: 8888

If I uncheck a proxy (to not use it) I cannot browse the internet, I am not connected. Also, when I open the Airport Utility i cannot see our school's airport. I have searched the internet for a solution but haven't been succesful. Any help (no matter how little) is still appreciated! How To Disable School Proxy (slightly complicated)?proxy tips and info:
