How do you change the browser on a Blackberry Storm 8530?

I have purchased an unlocked Telus Blackberry Storm 8530 and I am on the Rogers network. I have tried to call Rogers but they have not been very helpful. I am on the Rogers network therefore I cannot access the browser on the phone.
